    I had an new starter installed in my truck by Sears Auto Service Department in Lake Grove, New York on 4/22/2011 whom I have done business with for over 30 years with at first 2 family vehicles and prior to this problem 4 family vehicles. On June 19,2011 I stopped at the local Hess gas station and was not able to turn truck off as in the off position the starter started cranking until the fourth attempt the the truck stopped running altogether.     ON JAN.9TH I CALLED TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR 4 FIRESTONE TIRES, ITEM #0956017.THE TIRES WHERE ON SALE FOR $116.85@,BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO PLACE AN ORDER UNTIL THEY CONTACTED FIRESTONE FOR AN ESTIMATED SHIP TIME.I ASKED IF I COULD PLACE ON ORDER WHILE THE SALE WAS STILL ON.     This writer by way of background happens to have an excellent credit record and more particularly has never ever missed a payment due Sears.     09 09/2010 Hi, I just called the service department in Yuma, Az and the customer service representative absolutely refused to give me any assistance whatsoever...until I verified the address that I lived at maybe 5 years ago...     What bad luck for me, both the fridge and dishwasher had problems.     callings sears service for our commercial washer was one of the worst experience i have had recently..first it took me three calls to get someone to set an appointment.then it took six days to get someone here. then they did not have the parts. they had to order them. we had five machines that were serviced. the repair person did not give our person a receipt.     Purchased a digital camera with extended warranty. Camera could not be fixed so replacement was given. Not happy with replacement and request a cash refund but Sears will only give a store credit good for only 30 days. Why should I be forced into buying something I don't want of lesser quality.
