    I purchased an item online. When it wasn't delivered, I emailed Customer Service and was told it was out of stock. When I looked at the site, it was available at a higher price. I emailed customer service and they told me if I wanted it I had to buy it at the higher price. Sears deducted the money from my account when I purchased the item. This was a completed contract and since Sears does have the item, they should sell it to me at the agreed upon price. More...

    this washing machine has been nothing but trouble since we purchased it from sears about 5 years ago 3 bad motors never ending repairs we have not abused it just used it as it was specified and was not up to the task we got a dud I have tried numerous times unsuccessfully and got passed around the country to a dozen different higher end managers who said they would take care of my problem and nothing has ever transpiered More...

  • Cover for fridge lights



    I've not had any problems with my Kenmore Elite fridge (freezer on bottom) and actually enjoy its roominess and convenience but about a month ago, the light cover fell off--it is completely warped as if it has partially melted, and it no longer clicks back into place. I did without it since I didn't have time to deal with it, but now I noticed one of the appliance bulbs is burned out. This looks like a situation getting worse.     Called sears April 30 customer service to report a fire on the compressor relay on my 2003 Kenmore Elite brand side by side refrigerator Model number 106.536xxxxx manufacuted in Oct 2002. I was transferred to the recall dept. I was asked to provide the model number serial number and manufatured date and the cause of the fire as determined my the fire department, the representative stated that there was a recall and they would repair.     Sear is wasting alot of time and energy on certain service calls. In order to get a burner replaced on my smooth top range I will have to be home and available for a four hour window waiting for the technician, then wait about 3 weeks for the part then wait another 4 hours for the technician to arrive witht the part and replace it. 8 hours of my time.
