Terrible Service - in home repair service

I bought a washer, dryer and fridge from Sears when we firt purchased our home 7 months ago. Our washer has already stopped working so I placed a service call which was on a Tuesday and was told that there was no one available "in my area" until the following Tuesday. I was already upset with that considering having a working washer is a huge deal with two kids and two adults. Anyway, I made the appointment and received a call the day before just to remind me that someone would be at the house as scheduled. My husband stayed home from work that day and at 11am the repair man still was not there so my husband called to see if they were on their way. They told him that the service tech had gotten sick and had called in for that day and would not be coming to the house and instead of sending someone else they rescheduled us for another day. They never called to tell us no one would be there. I called to complain after my husband spoke to someone to see if we could have someone sooner come out considering it was a mistake made on their behalf and that we could not afford to be off of work for another day. Instead of trying to help me they offered me a gift card and an appointment for Thursday, which i assumed was the thursday following the tuesday that the appointment was missed. I had a family member come to the house at 8am to wait for the service guy and still no one showed up. I called once again to see what had happened and they told me that the service call was made for the following Thursday. By then I was very upset because I was dealing with a brand new broken washer that I was unable to use now for another week. They refused to budge on the service date so I insisted to speak to someone that was higher than whom I was speaking with. She told me that there was no one else and that I could not have the number to the scheduling office. She was so uncaring to the fact that I had no way of doing my laundry and did not even seem to try to have someone come to my area to service my washing machine. I will never buy an appliance from Sears again. They did not want to squeeze me in on getting my washer repaired when it was their mistake of someone not coming to the house. They felt as though a gift card should suffice with their mistake and I should have been happy about that. Now I'm having to drag more that three loads of laundry to another city to be able to do them when I have a brand new washer sitting there broken. They even refused to deliver me a new washer and take the broken one away to fix it and return it when done. Heaven forbid my fridge go out and need a service guy. Sears has made a bad reputation in my eyes. They do nothing to make it seem that they are appologetic about their mistake.
