kenmore 600 series-junk! - Kenmore 600 washer


I purchased a Kenmore 600 series washing machine July of 2007, paying approximately $600.00. After a year of use began making loud noise but was still working. In January of 2010 would only spin clothes intermittently now it has stopped spinning completely. This washing machine is not even 3 years old! I had my previous washing machine for 25 years. Have spoken with Sears rep and was told that machines don't last forever. I will never purchase another item from Sears. They have no respect for their customers or their reputation.

My Dad is 89 years old bought a Sears Kenmore washer 600, He had it for 1 year and 3 months and the motor burned out, He is on a fixed income, How much wash could my dad do with just him and my mom. It is garbage!

I am totally blown away this person Sheshesc had the same step to step problem I am now facing with my kenmore 600 which is almost 3 yr. It spins when it wants. An shortly after I got it it made some very loud noise that would go away for a while and resurface. I also bought the matching dryer and have no idea what will be next. Looking for a fix for my washer. Not looking good for sears and kenmore!
