lawn mower from hades - Craftsman Rotary Lawn Mower

My 56 year old mother bought a very expensive craftsman lawnmower, self propelled. The salesman talked her into a very expensive 3 year extended warranty. This year we have had the mower in to service twice, the first time they said " just an air filter" we only started it once and then could not get it going the second time. We have it in the shop now and are being told that the engine has siezed up because there is no oil in it. She has ran many lawn mowers over many years and we can not explain how a mower that was used less than 3 times succesfully can do this. Of course the extended warranty means nothing. She was in tears talking to the service manager and he kept telling her that it was her fault, and the new engine would be between 300-400 dollars. Sears does NOT stand behind their products and buying from them will never occur from our family or the 25 employees I have at my company. In fact we currently use a billboard near the store that sold her the lawnmower, pehaps it is time for some truth in advertising!!!!!!
