waranty - Refrigerator

bought a 3 year warranty from sears on a whirlpool refrigerator. well the refrigertor started leaking water, so I called Sears to get an appontment to have them come to the house. first of all, it took more than 15 minutes on hold to get customer service, and then when i finally got hold of them , they tell me that they cant send a repairman to the house until a week. I was lucky that Whirlpool warranty was covered for 1 year. Called Whirlpool and they sent someone out the next day. Dont ever buy a service agreement from sears, you will regret it. especially when it was a busted water line to the icemaker. If you are going buy a warranty purchase buy it directly from the Manufacturer (in this case,Whirlpool)
