I have tried to pursue this through your claim service, but have heard nothing in a week and in my attempt to call today keep getting cut off. May 1 Craftsman ride on mower was given an oil change by Sears repair. Two week later, the first time I ran the mower for more than a few minutes it clunked and stopped. The cap on the oil drain hose had not been screwed on tightly and the oil blew out and the engine quit. I put more oil in, but it would not start. I called Sears for a new repair appointment and the soonest I could get was June 4th. I asked my neighbor, an engineer and mechanic to check the engine and he guessed the piston was shot. On June 4th the repairman confirmed everything, but could not get approval to replace the enigne. There is a 90 day guarantee statement right on my receipt. Spent hours on the phone being lied to with the statement that oil changes are not coverd by the guarantee. Claim want to Sedgewick, claim was bounced back to Sears. Received a phone call from 585-475-0316 from a Sears claim rep who said I would be given an update by phone or mail in a few days, that was 6 days ago.
