I purchased a condo that had a Kenmore range/oven. One of the burners went out and I called and explained that it was no longer under warranty and it needed repair. The woman from the foreign call center was finally able to get across to me that I had to pay a one time fee, which I did by CC over the phone. The repairman came out, as scheduled, and did a diagnostic on the range and found the problem. He then called someone and gave them a parts number. He then told me that he would come back on Wednesday (04/24/13) afternoon between 1300-1700 to fix the burner. I am a self-employed physician. I rescheduled multiple patients to have this afternoon free and went home to wait. At approximately 1400, I received a knock at my door. There was no one there but a package was there and it was apparently the part that was ordered. I brought it in and thought how convenient it was to have the part delivered separately but on the same day. HOWEVER, much to my dismay, the repairman never showed up. No phone call, no apologies, nothing. I called the foreign call center and I apologized to the person taking the call because I was very upset that I spent an entire afternoon, not seeing patients (thus losing money)and did nothing. He told me that I was to all and confirm that I had received the part that was sent to me...which I was never told.

So now I am left with needing to take more time off from work, LOSING MORE MONEY so that the repairman could come by and fix the burner.
It would have been cheaper to have bought a brand new stove with the amount of money I will have lost in the process of not seeing patients.
