We own a Kenmore dishwasher purchased from Sears – now out of warranty, that started leaking water. We called Sears Home service – the technician came on 20-Dec, was here for barely 5 mins, asked us to change our soap, charged us 108$ and left.

In spite of changing soap – the dishwasher continued to leak. We called back within our 90-day warranty, and were told that a new technician would be sent out, and unless a new issue was identified, or parts were required for repair, no further charges would be made. The new technician stated that the problem again could be because of suds (in spite of changing our soap), said he would not charge us, but his laptop refused to let him go without a charge made – so we told that we would be charged 108$ again, but could dispute the charge. When we contact Sears to dispute the charge, we are told that the charge is correct. Now we have paid 216$, dishwasher problem is still unresolved.
