I purchased a BRAND NEW washer from Sears LAST MONTH and it ALREADY HAS STOPPED WORKING. I called to see if I could get it exchanged and because I'm 7 days shy of the 30 day exchange they will not exchange it. To me that is ridiculous. If the washer is brand new and giving problems this early, why would I just want it fixed ? Obviously, something is wrong with the washer to break down this early. Why would I want to keep this one knowing that odds are it will continue to give me problems down the line ? Are these washers manufactured to last just a little over the 30 day exchange period ? Sears USED TO be an upstanding company, now I'm wishing I would have went somewhere else.
