A hunk of junk


March 2014 I purchased a stove, refrigerator and an over the range microwave (model #790.80353310). Before a year, each of these appliances had to be repaired to some extent. On the day the microwave was installed, it did not worked. In order to get it repaired or replaced I had to contact my salesperson. It was a long drawn out drama to have this serviced and the technician then replaced it. It worked for 7 months, then had to be serviced, now another 7 months later, it's broken again, the same problem, it will not cook. Are they designed to last for only 7 months? They should last at least a year or two. Each time I brought out my old 12 year old ($55) Emerson microwave and used it, also I'm still using it. I was politely offered to pay they said $249.00 to service this hunk of junk or I can have an option to pay $60 and $39.99 each month for a service agreement for all Kenmore products. What a rip off. I will never ever buy another Kenmore appliance again. I will tell everyone that I know about this horrible experience as of now, I would never shop at sears again.
