Sears broken Kenmore frig 3 1/2 months old - Kenmore french door refrigerator


This Kenmore refrigerator was purchased in early March of 2015. It stopped working last night. We lost all the food in both freezer and frig. Talked with 1-800-4-MY-Home regarding getting the item prepared. I was told it would be two weeks before the item could be repaired. They could not send a tech out any sooner nor would they replace the item because no extended warranty was purchased (though the item is under warranty). I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to wait. I called back 3x and even talked to a supervisor who told me there was no one besides her to hear my complaint and there was nothing she could do. For my family to be without a frig for 2 weeks is unacceptable, especially since it is brand new. Sears does not stand by their products and their customer service stinks. I will never but another appliance from Sears again!
