junk Craftsman Weedwacker now lost in their system - Craftsman "Weedwacker" model# 3167397

On June 14 I took my new (less than a week) weedwacker to Sears because the oil was leaking out (4 cycle). I was given a receipt with a service number written on it. July 2 I received an automated call telling me my product had been repaired and could be picked up at the store. I drove some 30 miles to the store and when I got there, the clerk opened a file drawer and said "there's no paperwork on it, I ain't here". I explained to him about the call and he told me it must have been the repair place that called. I would have to wait until the store called me on Friday (7/3). No call on Friday. So, It called the number on the 'repair order' and got a woman I could not understand due to her accent. She put me on hold for over 10 minutes and a man came on the line. His phone was so bad I only could hear parts of his words. After another 15 minutes I was told I would have to go back to the store and start there. I then called the store #1830 in Fort Wayne, IN and asked for a manager. The person I got told me to call the number I had just called earlier. She gave me to addresses she call email addresses to "escalate my problem" but she couldn't help me.
This run-a-round has taken the better part of my day and I have not even learned if Sears can find my weedwacker. It's small wonder Sears is in bankruptcy.
Oh, by the way, this was a replacement machine for another that was sent for repair 5 times because the recoil started kept breaking. Sears will have t pull a miracle to get me to buy another Sears product.
