Sears failed to deliver appliances as scheduled. - Kenmore


I purchased a washer, dryer and the pedestals for each and was given a delivery date 3 weeks later. On the day of expected delivery the delivery guy called and said he was running late and would be there between 8:30 and 10:45. At 12:00 I phoned the delivery guy who stated the delivery had been removed from the schedule and appliances would not be delivered as scheduled. I called Sears delivery team who stated the delivery would be made and someone would contact me immediately with a delivery time. At 4:30 I was still waiting on delivery and called Sears again. They stated I should give them a few more hours because they make deliveries until 9 pm. Not to my house, they don't. I canceled the order which was another ordeal. They have charged my account for the appliances that were not delivered and say they will be reversed within 10 days. I expect to have problems with the refund as well. I have made MANY purchases from Sears, but NO more. I will take my business elsewhere.
