Sears Kenmore warranty repair or replacement - Kenmore Refrigerator
I purchased 2 Kenmore Refrigerators plus a Washer and Dryer from Sears the end of December 2014 for a rental property I own. One of the refrigerators stopped working early May 2015 making it under warranty. I contacted sears after questioning they scheduled a Repair Appointment for June 3rd which was a week after I reported it and the poor tenants were trying to live out of a cooler. They rescheduled the repair for June 13th. I repeatedly told them this was unacceptable, so the promised to put it on an emergency basis. Well today is June 12th and I or the tenant have yet to hear from them.
My tenant was so angry she posted a complaint on Facebook. Sear contacted her but refuse to talk to her because she did not buy the product. I also posted a complaint on Facebook and heard from about 40 friends telling me of similar problems they had had with Sears customer service, but I haven't heard a word from Sears.
For many years I have purchased Kenmore products for my business ,home and now this rental property for the express reason that I could expect great or at least good service. I paid a premium to sears for the customer service. I will never buy another Sears product ie appliance as long as I live. Their lack of concern, interest in the problem with this refrigerator has shown me that Sears no longer is interested in the function and reliability of their products
