Sears mower 917.20381 defective - Craftsman mower model 917.20381

After much research, I purchased a new Craftsman mower from a local Sears store. I paid more for the upgraded model with cast iron axle etc... With the idea I would be using it for a long time. That was in June of this year. I mowed 3 times and it stopped moving foward and backward. I called the 1800 warranty number and they set an appointment for two weeks away. As frustrating as that was, today the repairman arrived. Replaced the belt and a fan that broke and as I began to mow later in the day, it stopped driving again and smoked pored from under the mower. I assume a belt issue but not sure. I called again and now I'm told I have to wait two more weeks. That's one month waiting for the repairman. I called the 800 number three times today to try to find a resolution besides waiting another couple weeks. No luck. Sorry, is what they say. They offered a gift card but I refused. I'm wanting the mower I paid $1500 to cut grass. Not some free item. This mower has maybe three hours run time and is now waiting for repair number two. In short, bought the mower in June, broke in July. Fixed mid August and broke again. This is absolutely unacceptable. I understand things happen but the lack of concern in customer service is a complete joke. I can be reached as lanhamkevin@yahoo.com
